Superhero Story

Our very first assignment was our superhero/ villain story. Mine was about this teenage girl that gets her super powers from her deceased mother’s magical pendant. She finds the hardship in all the conflicts that come her way. She learns to find a way out of every situation.

This reflected my superhero story. It said how I made this story, and my inspiration behind it. What were my ideas while I was making this story and what my perspective was on it. Many things inspired me to do the story and snips of some of my favorite tv shows.

Personal Narrative

For my personal narrative was based on childhood experience, and how it made up the story. It was about how her way of growing up and her parents divorce. How much that impacted her life and the vibe around her.

Like the rest this is a reflection on the personal narrative. It states how I got the idea of Cali coming from divorced parents. As well as how this background makes up who she is now. How it has reinforced her character leading up to this point.

Explanatory Essay 

This essay was based on a book called “Citizen” by Claudia Rankine. It was book based on real life situation that involve things such as racism, dehumanizing or even micro aggression. We had to bring up parts of the book that we found interesting or we felt strongly about.

 

 

Rhetorical Situation Reflection on Explanatory Essay

This was a reflection on our essay for “Citizen.” This washy thoughts on what this book meant to me. As well as background of the author in other words, me. I provided details on how I chose the pieces and my thoughts behind this book in general. Not only by what I read but my personal experiences as well. I could say this was a reading the stood out to more the most because it had so many situations that happen on the daily and so many people can relate to.

Researched Critical Analysis Essay 

This essay is similar to the explanatory Essay. This difference is it’s about the theme of self-and-other. The idea that the power is within us and not in someone else. We had different pieces to work with, including the books and articles read in class as well as articles we have found online.

This was a reflection on all that happened throughout the essay. My first reaction as well as an insight on who I am. How these situations affected me but also the community.
